Lincoln City Cultural Center plans to renovate the outside 2.5-acre grounds into spaces to support additional arts programs and to address our parking issues. The current school grounds limit our use of the outdoor areas. The redesign provides for pedestrian use including an outdoor arts class area, a new outdoor music and special events area, additional spaces and support for weekend arts fairs and multiple, new public art locations. An ADA-walkway through the pedestrian areas will provide safer patron access to weekend fairs and encourage daily use of the grounds with the public art trail. The plan also includes additional parking, event lighting and improved access to our parking areas.
The plan will complete the transformation of this iconic landmark from a school into an indoor AND outdoor arts center with additional arts and cultural offerings for our community as well as provide an attraction for increased tourism.
You can order and create your engraved bricks here to fund the plaza construction planned to begin in 2020. The brick can be in memory of a loved one, to honor a person, a meaningful inscription, to recognize you, your organization, or your business support of the plaza. You can order as many as you wish. They will have a lifetime warranty and after engraving will be epoxy filled to keep dust and dirt out for a lifetime of recognition.
If you are a Delake Alumni and would like your brick placed in the newly designated area, please order the Delake Alumni brick.
